Catlover, cratedigger, and nerd, Meera grew up with house-music and DJs all around her. It was only a matter of time before she dipped her toes into it herself. Falling in love with producing at the age of 12 and DJing at 14, she’s already been in the scene for a while. Having always been an all-embracing soul; she’s ever drawing on world music, indie electronic, and anything else that speaks to her, her music becomes an amalgam of her tastes. Her productions are a darker take on afrohouse with a strong sense of personality.

Emerging as a new artist in 2023; Meera has already established herself as an act to follow in the afro scene. Her first EP on VOD quickly garnered the attention of renowned DJs such as &ME, Black Coffee, Caiiro, Damian Lazarus, and Diplo. With her latest collaboration with Tripolism being picked as Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune it's safe to say Meera is already an act to pay attention to.
